Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 July 2026

This policy explains how Afektas, MB ("Zirtrade", "we") handles personal data collected through this website, zirtrade.com. We keep it short because we collect very little.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Afektas, MB — the company operating the Zirtrade brand — registered in the Republic of Lithuania. You can reach us about anything in this policy at start@zirtrade.com.

2. What we collect and why

Contact enquiries

When you contact us — through the form on this site or by email — we receive the details you choose to share: typically your name, email address, company and message. We use them solely to respond to your enquiry and to conduct any business relationship that follows. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to you (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, where the enquiry leads to a contract, the steps necessary to enter into it (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Technical data

Our hosting provider processes standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) as necessary to deliver the website securely. These logs are not used to identify visitors.

3. Cookies

This website does not set tracking or advertising cookies and does not use third-party analytics. All assets, including fonts, are served from our own domain — no third-party services receive your browsing data.

4. Who we share data with

We do not sell or rent personal data. Enquiry data is visible to our team and to the providers that host our email and website infrastructure, acting on our instructions. We disclose data to authorities only where the law requires it.

5. How long we keep it

Enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as it stays relevant to a current or potential business relationship, and is deleted when it no longer is. Records connected to actual transactions are retained for the periods required by Lithuanian accounting and tax law.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data; ask us to restrict its processing, or object to it; and request a copy in a portable format. Write to start@zirtrade.com and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Lithuanian State Data Protection Inspectorate (vdai.lrv.lt) or your local supervisory authority.

7. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
